Coverage at a Glance :

Hard Luggage (Suitcases, Cabins, Check-ins, Duffels) 5 Years International Manufacturing defects in materials & workmanship.
Soft Bags (Backpacks, Weekend bags, overnighters & duffles) 1-3 Years International Manufacturing defects in materials & workmanship.
Zip Pullers & Chains (on all luggage) 3 Years International Manufacturing defects only.
Accessories 6 Months Manufacturing defects in materials & workmanship.


Key Principle:
Our warranty covers manufacturing defects. It does not cover damage from normal wear and tear, accidents, misuse, or airline/carrier handling.

1. Detailed Warranty Coverage: What’s Included & Excluded

A. Luggage Shell (Polycarbonate/ Fabric)

  • What’s Covered: Cracks or discolouration present at the time of arrival.
  • What’s Not Covered: Scratches, dents, or damage caused by airlines, mishandling, or accidents. General wear and tear due to prolonged and improper use of luggage.

B. Wheels

  • What’s Covered: Wheel malfunction (e.g., not spinning) or major cracks.
  • What’s Not Covered: Minor wobble from use, or damage to decorative side parts of dual wheels.

C. Telescopic (Trolley) Handle

  • What’s Covered: Breakage or button mechanism failure.
  • What’s Not Covered: Minor, natural wobble developed over time. The telescopic handle is designed to retract under downward pressure during rolling, which is a normal functional characteristic and not considered a defect.

D. Zippers, Pullers & Chains

  • What’s Covered: Failure of the zip pullers or chains due to a manufacturing defect for 3 years.
  • What’s Not Covered: Damage from over-packing, forcing the zip, or general friction. Inner lining zippers are not covered.

E. TSA & Non-TSA Locks

  • What’s Covered: Mechanical malfunction.
  • What’s Not Covered: Forgotten passwords or combinations. It’s recommended that you have the code written somewhere.

F. Grab Handles, Side Feet & Name Patch

  • What’s Covered: Breakage of grab handles or side feet. Loose stitching or fitment of the Assembly name patch upon arrival.
  • What’s Not Covered: Scratches on the patch or detachment caused by friction/mishandling/normal usage.

G. Interior (Inner Lining & Features)

  • Not Covered: Inner fabric, mesh, linings, and internal zippers are subject to wear and are not covered under warranty. Tearing or stains are considered under normal wear and tear.

2. Backpacks & Soft Bags

  • What's Covered: Structural integrity issues, such as frame or seam collapse, may occur upon arrival.

    The USB charging port malfunctions due to a manufacturing defect.

    Fitment issues with logos, patches, or hardware upon delivery.
  • What's Not Covered: Fabric damage, including cuts, tears, mesh breakage, peeling, or corner/base wear from external force, abrasion, overloading, or regular use.

    Thread or material issues resulting from improper use, friction, or wear.

    USB Charging: Prior to processing any warranty claim alleging a manufacturing defect, the USB charging port shall be inspected and tested to determine whether external tampering has occurred. Any claim for which evidence of tampering is detected shall be deemed invalid and shall be denied in its entirety.

    Surface imperfections such as dents, wrinkles, or fading due to sunlight, washing, or environmental exposure.

    Detachment of name patches caused by mishandling or friction.

    Colour fading or material degradation from prolonged exposure to the sun, cleaning, or everyday use.

3. General Warranty Terms & How to Claim

Important Conditions:

  1. Warranty covers only manufacturing defects and does not cover any damage caused by misuse (such as transportation of unusual items), neglect, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water, normal wear and tear, or transport damage (by airlines, for example).
  2. If the product is to be replaced and is no longer available, Assembly will substitute the same model in an available colour option.
  3. Manufacturing specifications are subject to change without notice. We are an evolving brand, and if a replacement product is provided, it may include some changes based on the lot availability at that time.
  4. In the interest of product upgrading, Assembly is free to change its product specifications without notice, and in the event that spares for the given models are not available, Assembly may, at its discretion, provide/offer an equivalent model.
  5. Please note that any price difference or unavailability of a similar product will not be the responsibility of Assembly.
  6. The warranty provided herein is limited to the value of the product.
  7. If the product is not under warranty as determined by the order date, any repairs agreed to or freight costs incurred will be at the owner's expense. The complete cost will be borne by the customer.
  8. Product locks are intended only to prevent accidental opening and cannot necessarily prevent theft of the product or its contents, breakage, or entry by airline or airport personnel or governmental authorities.
  9. Please make sure you keep your proof of purchase safe and sound. You will need it to avail your warranty. A PDF invoice is mandatory to claim the warranty on your Assembly luggage. If suitable proof of order is not available, any repairs agreed to or freight costs incurred will be at the owner's cost. The complete cost will be borne by the customer.
  10. The Company will undertake to repair or replace the defective piece within a reasonable period of time, at its own discretion; and its decision as to the nature of the defects and applicability of this warranty is final.
  11. Assembly reserves the right to discontinue warranty coverage and withhold refunds within the applicable return window if an incorrect, altered, or damaged product is returned.
  12. If fraudulent or misbehaving activities are detected in the returned or delivered product, appropriate action will be taken. Each returned product is carefully verified against its packaging video, and the manufacturing date, parts design, and internal materials are cross-checked with the original month of production.
  13. If any fraudulent activity is identified through any mode of communication (WhatsApp, Insta DM/Email, etc.) or during product inspection, it will be treated as valid evidence to withhold the refund, terminate the warranty, and may also result in legal action, as deemed necessary.
