Q1. What is the warranty coverage on various products?
A1. We offer the following international and domestic warranty coverage against manufacturing defects:
Hard Luggage/ Trolley bags: 5 years
Soft Luggage /Trolley Backpacks: 3 years
Laptop Bags: 1 year
Travel Accessories: 6 months
Please note this warranty does not cover damage due to regular wear and tear or misuse of the product.
Q2. How do you claim warranty and returns?
A2. For claims under warranty:
We offer either repair or replacement.
Please note returns are not accepted once the return period has expired.
Q3. What is the repair process for products under warranty?
A3. For products with minor defects:
If the product has a minor defect that can be repaired easily, we will repair it and return it to you within a few days. The 2-way shipping charges will be borne by Assembly.
For products with major defects:
If the product cannot be repaired, we will provide a free replacement and arrange for reverse shipping of the damaged product back to us.The 2-way shipping charges will be borne by Assembly.
If the product is outside the warranty period:
After understanding the defect over call/chat, we will inform you regarding the repair charges and 2-way shipping costs. If you agree, we will schedule the repair at our workshop (located in New Delhi) and send it back to you.
Q4. How do I get my product repaired or claim a refund if I am an international consumer?
A4. For Repairs:
Assembly stands by its promise of delivering premium craftsmanship and assistance to its all international and domestic consumers. We offer:
Spare Parts and Guided Assistance: We will send over the spare parts along with detailed repair instructions or guided videos to assist you with minor repairs.
For Refund:
In case there's no scope for replacement or repair, we'll offer you a
full refund for your order. In order to avail this, you will have to share the following:
Purchase Receipt for legibility and to initiate the necessary banking facilities.
Photo/video of the defect.
Confirmation from our team that local repair options are not available.
Amount: Refunds will be processed for the purchase price of the luggage, excluding the shipping cost.
Processing Time: Refund requests will be processed within 2-3 business days upon approval.
Q5. Will I be charged for spare parts if products are under warranty?
A5. The process depends on the following factors:
In case of under-warranty replacements with repair, spare parts required for the luggage will be shipped complimentary after verifying purchase and photo/video of the defective product shared by the customer.
Out-of-warranty replacements with repair spare parts will be shipped at a nominal charge.
Q6. How can consumers get their products repaired?
A6. They can get their products repaired in the following based on whether the defect is minor or major.
For minor repairs, we encourage you to visit a reliable local bag and luggage repair shop.
For major repairs, we will facilitate service at our Delhi NCR workshop.
Q7. How do we handle your data?
A7. All customer purchase information is recorded in our online database after you provide your consent during purchase. We use this information only as needed.
Please note: We do not provide a hard copy of the warranty card separately.
