Responsibilities:

Financial Controls Implementation:

  • Design and implement strong internal control environment to mitigate financial risks and safeguard the organization's assets. 
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with established controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Streamline workflows to enhance efficiency.

Sales Operations Oversight:

  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of sales transactions in accordance with the revenue recognition policies. 
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, assess the effectiveness of promotional activities, and provide insights for future strategies.

Accounts Receivable:

  • Implement controls to ensure accurate and timely Receipts and Reconciliations.

Inventory Control:

Expense Control:

  • Establish processes for the review, verification, and approval of expense invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the contractual terms.
  • Analyze the rates charged by vendors for goods and services, benchmarking against industry standards and market trends. Identify opportunities to negotiate better rates or seek alternative suppliers without compromising quality or service levels.
  • Implement mechanisms for accurately allocating expenses to appropriate cost centres.

Other Tasks:

  • Regular review of Accounts Payable and Other GL Accounts. 
  • Ensure that book keeping is complete and accurate till date.

Financial Reporting:

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Provide clear and concise financial reports to the Management, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay updated with changes in financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
  • Oversee the timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, including GST, TDS, statutory audit and other applicable taxes.
  • Collaborate with tax advisors to ensure compliance with reporting obligations.
  • Establish controls to verify the accuracy of financial data submitted for tax returns.

Cash Flow / Working Capital Management:

  • Manage cash flow to ensure organization's liquidity needs are met.
  • Optimize working capital and make recommendations for improvement in cash flow efficiency.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team, providing guidance and support.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the finance department.

Ensure that brand-wise product Cataloguing should be done with 100% quality with End-to-end Team, Brand & Quality coordination.

  • Quality Checks:

Perform Quality Checks on products including both pre-upload and post upload checks. Ensure that whatever information available on PDP (Product Display Page) is 100% correct and easily understandable to customer

  • Maintaining Product Listing TAT:

Achieve daily/monthly targets (Product Listing count) within the requested TAT (Turn Around time)

  • Tracking and Assortment Planning:

Brand wise tracking for all the products listing and ensuring that we have a competitive catalogue and the pricing is in comparison and in line with other platforms

  • Customer Experience:

Make sure we give best customer experience in terms of content look, site filter parameter, and size chart. This would also include the work which can minimize returns and cancellations in the category

  • Coordination:

Communicate continuously with Brands to make product listings as per plan. Work closely with the technical Team on product uploading and content issues

  • Review and analyze existing product listings on all the channels (Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Ajio, Nykaa Fashion, etc)
  • Ensure implementation of platform guidelines and standard SOPs and be responsible for Catalog Go Live across all channels & identifying areas for improvement in titles, descriptions, images, and keywords.
  • Open cases with Amazon & Myntra support to resolve any listing-related issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends, best practices, and policy changes on the Amazon platform to ensure compliance and optimization. And maintaining the highest quality of Catalog output
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and customer service, to ensure accurate and up-to-date product information is reflected in listings.

Requirements:Must have prior cataloging and end-to-end seller support operations knowledge on Amazon/Myntra/Ajio/Nykaa.
