CANCELLATION, RETURN & REFUND POLICY

1. Scope and Applicability: This Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs all purchases made on www.assemblytravel.com (“Website”). By placing an order, the customer (“Customer”) agrees to be bound by the terms set forth herein.

2. Returns and Eligibility: Assembly offers a 30-day no-questions-asked return policy from the date of delivery, subject to the following conditions:

  • The product must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition.
  • All original packaging, tags, labels, accessories, and accompanying materials must be intact and returned.
  • Returns initiated beyond the specified return window shall not be accepted.
  • Assembly reserves the right to accept or reject any return request based on inspection and compliance with the above conditions.

3. To process your refund:

  • Please share your details with our customer support email.
  • Once your returned product is received, we will send you an email confirmation on whether your return has been accepted.
  • Product cost refund will be processed back to your bank account thereafter within 7 business days by our payment gateway & bank.


4. Return Process: The pickup process is enabled through our shipping partner as follows:-

  • The bag needs to be packed back in the box with tape the way it was received & handed over to the pickup executive. In case the user has disposed off the assembly box packaging, then the user can pack the luggage in any carton box so that the luggage does not get damaged in transit.
  • Pickups are scheduled 1-2 days post-confirmation with the customer. So once you confirm that the pickup can be scheduled, we will initiate the pickup process and the shipping vendor representative will reach your address.
  • Returns are handled directly by the shipping vendor (in most cases, Delhivery). So once we have initiated the return process, we don't control the scheduling or coordination of the pickup from the customer's address. The shipping vendor will get in touch with the customer directly.
  • Assembly shall not be liable for any damage incurred due to improper packaging by the Customer.


5. Inspection and Acceptance: All returned products shall be subject to quality inspection at Assembly’s facility.

  • Assembly reserves the sole right to determine whether the returned product meets the eligibility criteria.
  • If the return is approved, the refund will be processed.
  • If the return is rejected, the product may be shipped back to the Customer at their expense.


6. Mandatory Unboxing & Reporting Requirement (Wrong / Damaged / Missing Items): In the event the Customer receives a product that is incorrect, damaged, defective, or incomplete, the following conditions shall strictly apply:

  • The Customer must notify Assembly within 24–48 hours from the time of delivery, as per the courier tracking status.
  • The Customer must provide a clear, continuous, and unedited unboxing video evidencing the issue. The video must include:
  • The outer packaging with shipping label clearly visible, including Customer name, tracking ID, and barcode.
  • A continuous recording of the package being opened and the product being removed.
  • The invoice clearly displayed within the video for verification purposes.
  • The video must be recorded in one continuous take without any cuts or edits.
  • Failure to Comply: In the event the Customer fails to provide the required documentation and video evidence within the stipulated 48-hour period, Assembly shall not be liable for any claims, including but not limited to returns, refunds, replacements, or investigations related to such issues.


7. Limitation of Liability: Assembly shall not be held liable for:

  • Damage arising due to normal wear and tear, misuse, improper handling, or external factors.
  • Claims not supported by adequate proof as required under this Policy.
  • Delays caused by third-party logistics providers or unforeseen circumstances.

8. Cancellation of Orders: Orders can be cancelled at any time before dispatch. In case you would like to cancel the order, please let us know by dropping an email, and we'll do the rest.

In case the order is already in transit, we will do our best to inform the shipping vendor to cancel the order. However, sometimes the shipping vendor may not process the information in time and will attempt the order delivery. In this case, if the user just declines to accept the package, they will cancel the order and return the product to us.
 
9. *Sale Terms & Conditions: Products purchased during a sale or promotional offer are eligible for exchange or replacement only in the case of a manufacturing defect. Requests for exchanges or replacements based on other reasons will not be accepted at the sale price.

10. Amendments: Assembly reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Policy at any time without prior notice. Customers are advised to review this Policy periodically.
